MCP Bundler v1(Build 18): Server Folders, Client-Aware Logs and Smarter Skills Exposure.

Build 18 is now available. This release focuses on improving how you organize larger setups, how you debug what’s happening in the bundled stdio server, and how Skills are presented to clients that already handle them natively.

Group MCP servers into folders

You can now group MCP servers inside a project into folders, making it easier to manage larger configurations and apply more granular control over what’s enabled.

Project logs now include MCP client identification

Project logs now capture and display the connecting MCP client’s name and version. This makes it much easier to answer questions like “which client triggered this tools/call?” when debugging stdio sessions.

Skills visibility toggle for Claude Code and Codex

A new per-project setting lets you hide Skills tools/resources for clients with native Skills support:

  • Claude Code (claude-code)
  • Codex (codex-mcp-client)

When enabled, Skills won’t appear in tools/resources discovery for those clients, reducing clutter while keeping Skills available for other MCP clients.
