Skills adoption is getting its moment. All major Ai development tools joining Agent Skills open format and support the SKILL.md natively. I think the amount of skill usage will skyrocket next couple of months.
How many of you use one AI development tool only? Same for me, used Claude Code, now Codex. Tried open code, gemini cli, crush, goose. These are the ones I remember. And with skill adoption we have the same question we had with MCPs: how to manage them in between tools?
This new release helps to improve your skills usage across different AI tools a lot.
How can MCP bundler help with skills management?
If you use just one AI tool – everything is simple, add global skills or straight to the project – and you good to go. What if you use several AI tools and want to share skills between them?
MCP bundler can help with that – just add all your locations and skills will be synced between them.
You can select which skills you would like to use, individually or group them into one folder and manage by group. EASY.
How can I use skills if my AI tool doesn’t natively support Agent skill yet?
Maybe you have some skills that you would like to run from LM studio? It doesn’t support agent skills(and maybe wouldn’t, I don’t know). You can turn agent skills from MCP bundler as a MCP skills – add MCPbundler as mcp for your LMStudio – and your selected skills will be available alongside the MCP tools, ready to use.
